My DD is 16 mo old. We are still nursing and I just got off the minipill. While on it, my cycle lenth was all over the place. I hated it. Pre-preg (when not on the regular pill) my cycles were very regular: you could set a clock (calendar?) to it!

Since being off the minipill my cycles are incredibly short (for me): 21 days.

Could this be because of still breast feeding? The only other factor I think that could affect it is my age (closing in on 39).....but I've never heard of that.

yes, nursing can totally mess up your cycles.

Yes it is probably due to nursing. My cycles are starting to become sort of regular at about 5 1/2 weeks long. I have had 2 eight week cycles, 2 seven week cycles, a 6 week & now 3 that were about 5-5 1/2 weeks long. I was also pretty regular prior to getting pregnant.
