I'm desparately beggin for advice here mamas.
: Before kids my cycles usually were about 30-31 days. Since I had my first baby over 6 years ago I can count the number of periods I have had on two hands - since learning about NFP FAM - one hand. Between all these pregnancies and getting about 1 year of lactational amnorreah...
I don't chart and I don't take temps (I don't even have a thermometer anyways). I get pretty obvious CF when O as well as the fact that I can feel O occuring and I "play it safe" before and after for several days. This past cycle we used the withdrawl method a few days before I was expecting O and a condom the day after O and then resumed w/d'ing the one time after that.
I got my first PPAF after this last babe on Oct. 3rd. it was 6 days. I was expecting the next one by November 12th at the latest> Now it's Tuesday and nothing...I've even been chockful of PMS symptoms that I never get as newly preggo symptoms (well, never before) - chocolate craving, face breaking out, bloating (on Nov 5th actually), etc.
The dumb thing is that when I knew I was O I forgot to jot it down and now I can't remember when the hell that was.
I think it was the last week in Oct. I am so mad at myself. I feel like a FAM drop out. I dont' want to be preg again and I am beginning to freak out. I wanted to be healthier and about 50 lbs lighter
before preg again, I wanted some more space than 20 mos between babes before even thinking about another kid. Dh has been saying for almost two years that 4 is definately straining the limit. I'm a sahm and we've never lived off the greatest of incomes...I would like to go back to college sometime before I'm 50.
I'm looking for someone to tell me that it's normal for cycles to take a while to get back on track I guess lol. Oh, we're still bf'ing - dd nibbles on food throughout the day but still nurses a lot. I've not a chance with PPAFs to really figure out just how my body behaves nursing while likely fertile the second year PP.
