My husband started a new job and we won't have private insurance until March 1st so DS is on Medicaid until then and his current doctor does not accept Medicaid.

Are there any doctors in the Port St Lucie, Stuart, Palm City or Fort Pierce areas that takes Medicaid and is selective/delayed vax friendly?

I was told that medicaid in GA will drop you if you do not vax...at least that is what my ped told me.  My kids have medicaid and I get calls starting the day after their birthday every year that I need to sched a well baby checkup (grrr) and the dr and nurses told me medicaid will cancel your coverage if you dont vax....so i would check into that.

It was probably all scare tactics, but still

I've have heard of Dr. Punger in Fort Pierce mentioned here several times, but I, personally, have not met her. Hope that helps.

Dr. Punger is my personal Dr and LO's Pedi but she doesn't accept Medicaid beyond pregnancy and newborn and being a SAHM I can't afford to pay out of pocket to see her so I need to find another Dr until we can get insurance again.

In case somebody is searching the boards for the same information and come across this thread, Little People Pediatrics in Port St Lucie was the place that I found.
