Do any of the CNMs in Altanta handle routine gynecological care when you are finished with kids? If not, who do you recommend as a GYN?
A CNM (Kay) attended the births of both my children. My hubby and I are done with kids (100% sure). I haven't seen a regular OB/GYN since I switched from one when I was 35 weeks pregnant with my first child. I need a pap and pelvic exam, and even though I am done with childbearing, am a little unsure whether I should see a CNM or find a GYN.
I know Intown Midwifery does well-woman checkups. I had a Pap and pelvic as part of my prenatal care, but you don't have to be pregnant to want caring midwifery style health care!
Anyways, I'd suggest calling and asking to set up an appointment for an exam. I'd prefer seeing a CNM instead of an OB too.
I see Diane Tandy for Well woman care when Im not pregnant. Her site is gfgobgyn.com
