We live 20 min south of the Atlanta Airport so I can get to all of the above cities within 15-20 min. I have been having some moderate back pain when I work (12 hours as an RN) or when I bathe the kids (leaning, bending over the tub). I am too young to need medication or any other usual pain treatments. I have never been to a Chiro and have honestly never thought to go to one...until now.

So, if anyone can point me in the right direction, I would be forever grateful.

There are LOTS of chiros in the Fayetteville/PTC area.

I have personally seen two different ones, and been happy with them.

Gala Davis http://www.doctorgala.com/ on Highway 74, and Fuller "Life" Chiropractic http://www.fullerlifechiropractic.com/

I have friends who see Doctor Peggy Murry at 1134 Senoia Rd in Tyrone, GA.They have told me good things about her as well.

In addition to chiropractic care, I would also advise you to look up exercises you can do to strengthen your back and core muscles to help keep your back healthy and strong. For example sitting on a balance ball, and core body strength exercises like yoga, pilates, dance, etc.

I hope you find a chiropractor that works well for you.

Thank you SO much! I really appreciate the suggestions. I will give them a ring and see when I could get in for a consult.

I have become quite lazy with the exercise recently, but this reminds me why it is a good idea to keep at it. It started up again after a busy night last night. I just cannot fathom it hurting like this for years to come.

Thanks again!
