Hi!

I know that this has been asked several times before, but here it goes... I am looking for a referral to a very vaccine-friendly pediatrician or family practice. We have our own selective schedule that we follow, and would like to find someone who won't give us a hard time. I have heard of Marion Owen (left message to be put on a wait list) and Jill Overcash (they won't do anything until they have med. records, which are packed right now). When I lived in GA 4 years ago, I took my then infant daughter to Piedmont Pediatrics. I liked the practice and doctors, but they didn't seem too into doing things my way. We only went a couple of times however, as we moved out-of-state when DD was 6 months. Based on my experience with them, I don't want to go back there. I have heard of the ped in Little 5 points, but also have heard he is in high demand and usually isn't taking new patients. Any help would be appreciated!! I'll go anywhere I need to.

Thanks!!

I'd recommend Carol Hermann, M.D. of Rainbow Kids Pediatrics of Decatur, GA. She's in downtown Decatur. In her sixties or seventies. Been in practice forever. Really down to earth. Very knowledgeable. Totally understanding about vaccine questions. Very progressive, and forward-thinking, but also super well-educated and current.
