Well, I already have ds2 who does that for me. Except he proudly admits when he destroys things. :

Hope you guys can make it tomorrow! :

Hi all,

You all have fun tomorrow! I don't think we'll be able to make it there... packing for our trip to the boonies of Louisiana. I hope, hope, hope A is a little angel on the plane. Keeping my fingers crossed...

Have fun on your trip! I hope you get some goodies out of it! I'm sure A will do fine.

Have a great trip!

Go out and buy A a surprise toy and whip it out the moment she gets fussy. It should work for a few minutes

Have fun on the trip! Snacks should help too. We've been on far too many plane trips when A was younger and a surprise snack that he's never had before worked like a charm! He loved animal crackers and granola bars. I am guilty of using a lollipop as a last resort bribe :

We're gonna be there today, but maybe a few mins late. I need to leave here in 15 mins and that just isn't happening.

We're gonna have to miss a few playdates because Evan was sick for a few days. We were back at All Children's for high fevers. His heart is still perfect but he's more suceptible to germs so they told us to avoid kids for a while

Don't feel bad, I doubt the party had anything to do with it. Aiden would have been heartbroken if we did not go, he was talking about it all week. I'm trying to find balance of sheltering Evan and still doing fun things with Aiden and it is hard!

Can you go to the park outside with Evan if the kids stay away from him? Not sure if you leave Evan yet, but we could also go to the park when dh can watch Evan at home and just take Aiden.

We won't be there until noon... but I'm leaving the house in a few minutes so I can't check where we're meeting. I guess I'll park near the play area and go to the food court if no one is there.

Tomorrow at the Dallas White park in North Port, they're doing an eco-kids festival...http://peoplefortrees.com/events.cfm

It sounds fun, so we are going to check it out since dh has to work tomorrow, and we will be bored and looking for something to do. You should meet us there! : I know mjw will be there, and hopefully D. will decide to come.

Oh, D, here's the link to the monthly upcoming eco-kids events too scroll down a bit to where it says eco kids club and it tells the upcoming monthly activities. MiamiMami, R might enjoy them, too. It says recommended ages 5 and up, but I is closer to 5 than 4, so we will try it next month and see how he likes it.

Ooooooh that sounds cool! Although I am at the free junk food for the kids.

We have some shopping to do tomorrow, so I am not sure if we will be able to make it.

I'm so excited now! It's not very often that we find something that C. actually wants to do... he really wants to go.

Lol at the free junk too... hehe. It was funny, at the summer camp they did 2 years ago they made a 'nature related' snack everyday. It wasn't natural though, lol. One day it was frosting covered ice cream cones (no ice cream though) with sesame seeds stuck to it ... talk about picking and choosing your battles. C is pretty good about knowuing what he can and can't have. When they tried to give him kool-aid he politely declined:

Oh, I know. Yuck... Chris really liked the seeds but didn't care much for the frosting. He was kinda bummed today though cuz I told him he couldn't have a snow cone...

Yea! Let's try for the parks with good shade

Dallas White, Colonial Oaks, Franz Ross.

I had dental surgery today: In the next couple of weeks I have a root canal to look forward to, and a crown placed. Fun times.

Is anyone else going to the LLL conference?
