Does anyone know a local place to buy raw milk and organic meat around B'ham, AL?

I've done several google searches and the closest I found was a place in TN that will ship. I'd much rather buy and pick up locally though.

Does anyone have suggestions? I'm really looking mostly for raw milk & turkey, chicken and occasionally a steak.

Here are some places in AL (http://www.realmilk.com/where1.html#al). Don't know if any are close to you. Good luck!

I've bought from Burt's Beef (Bent Tree Farms), Goose Pond Farm, and Native American Natural Grass-Fed Beef. They're all very good and very reasonable, depending on your needs. All are listed here:

Noah Valley Farm CSA is not too far from B'ham, and offers meat products from a co-op in GA in addition to their own vegetables, mushrooms and eggs:
Their veggies and mushrooms are wonderful!

I also can say that Sand Mountain CSA is a wonderful place to get a wide variety of veggies, and network to find other items you need. Dove pretty much knows everyone in the AL CSA/natural foods community.

Good luck!
