Hi,
I am wondering if anyone knows a midwife, CNM or not, in the Raleigh area that would consider being the backup for an unassisted birth? I had this arrangement with the last birth in a different state to ease DH's mind and it worked out. Also, what are midwife price ranges like around here and do some accept medicaid? Thanks a bunch!

Alicia + James = Gabriel (9), Uriah (7), Ayla (5), Noah (3), Azriel (1), and due Oct. 2011

Also try the website at North Carolina Friends of Midwifery... you can find some info there.
