Currently pregnant women/couples in Western North Carolina have several options when choosing who will care for them during pregnancy and the birth of their baby. However, they have just two options when choosing where to deliver their baby... either in a hospital or at home. A small group of dedicated professionals plans to develop a third option, a free-standing birth center.
You can help by taking a few minutes to complete a short, on-line survey. The survey was created to learn about women’s experiences with different care providers and to measure the level of interest in this new birth option for our region.
At the end of our survey you may register to win gift certificates from one of more than 40 valued sponsors. Please also help support our efforts by sharing this survey with others. Hurry! Survey closes October 31.

A somewhat frazzled, liberal, crunchy, breastfeeding, babywearing, EC'ing, co-sleeping, non-vaxing, natural water birthing mama to the non-stop, but lovely L.B. (Okay, so she's almost 4 now and some of these things no longer apply).
