TODAY is Election Day! Polls are open from 6:30 am - 7:30 pm. Whether you are a registered Democrat, Republican or Independent you can vote on the constitutional amendment.
You can click here to get your personal voting information and look at a sample ballot: https://www.ncsbe.gov/VoterLookup.aspx?Feature=voterinfo
For those with mobility impairments, curbside voting is available: http://www.ncsbe.gov/content.aspx?id=57
My family is voting against Amendment One. If you are still on the fence - post your questions here. So many great NC moms are voting against. We can tell you why!
Here's a good (short!) video showing people from all over the religious and political spectrum standing against this Amendment.
I voted against the Amendment in early voting on Saturday.
I am so sad to read that the latest polls show it will pass.
This constitutional amendment does not protect traditional marriage (with it's 50% divorce rate and 75% cohabitation before marriage rate) in any way. It only proves how prejudiced North Carolinians are. So embarrassing!!
