Local birth advocates with Women in the Center, Where's My Midwife?, and Midwifery Services are taking part in the world premiere screening of Freedom For Birth tonight at Jengo's Playhouse in downtown Wilmington, North Carolina.
This documentary brings attention to the need for access to midwifery care, homebirth as an option, and the right for women and families to choose their maternity care. The film starts at 7 pm with a discussion to follow about how we as individuals can get involved in shifting the birth climate in our area. Grab your tickets here for $8 in advance: http://freedomforbirthilm.eventbrite.com/ and support local birthwork. Hope you can join us!!
