Has anyone gone through the process of getting a child into Arlington Public Schools with a vaccination exemption, and exemptions for the tuberculosis test, and whatever else they want you to torture your kid with?

I just wonder how much of a hard time parents are given...and what I'm in for.

Thanks!

I went through this process this year, and no one blinked at me. Very easy. I didn't make a big deal out of it - just turned in the exemption form with the medical paperwork. DD had zero risk factors for the TB screening, so that wasn't an issue.

Good luck!

p.s. I had several copies of the exemption notarized, so that both the school and I could have an "original"

That's great. Also smart of you to get several notorized copies of your exemption. We've done that here in Utah, as well. (We'll be moving to Arlington at the beginning of January.)

Thanks so much. You've put my mind at ease.
