I'm overdue for a checkup since moving, and need to see someone soon.  Doesn't have to be an OB, if I have any more kids it will be with a midwife anyway!  That said, I'd like someone natural-minded and won't balk at my still nursing my youngest, etc.  I'm in Northern Suffolk, so anwhere from Newport News to Norfolk will work.  Thanks!

ETA Female only though please!

I haven't seen her yet, but when I asked around a few people recommended Dr. Bonnie Dattel.

I'm also located in North Suffolk. Nice to know there are other peaceful loving mamas in the area. It almost feels impossible to find.

Thanks!  I forgot to come back here for a while LOL!  I'll have to give her a call.  I'm seriously overdue.

We homeschool and are part of an artsy coop, so are finding more people "like us" lol.  Not sure how old your kiddos are.

artsy coop really?? Please tell me more. My daughter will be 3 in April, but she is very creative which attracts her to older children.

I loved Dr. Kristin Yonker with Peninsula Womens Care in Newport News. I miss her alot.   Not sure how natural minded she is, but she was always so attentive, and gentle and personable.

I recommend the midwives at Woman Care Center in Norfolk.  Specifically I like Blair Conger but any of the 4 midwives are really great and wont balk at all about you still nursing your child.  In fact, they would probably encourage you to continue!

Thanks for the info. I'm hoping in September my daughter will be open to trying it out.

I am also highly recommending the midwives at the Womans Care Center in Norfolk.  Absolutely amazing woman who will welcome your natural ways with open arms

Western Branch OB/GYN Dr. Colwill. She is awesome friendly and understanding and has a warm friendly personality. She is in Chesapeak near Portsmouth if I recall.

Navy wife, mama of 3 girls, 3 boys, 2 kitties and wanting more. No vax, no circ, trying to live as natural as  we can. We are working on it
