I'll be delivering my third baby at Clarian Arnett next month and have yet to choose a ped. I am looking for someone who's very supportive of bf'ing, co-sleeping, and delayed vaxing. I'd prefer to stay with Arnett if possible, but wouldn't hesitate to switch if necessary.

Thanks!

Shannon, AP mom to:

ds1, 6
dd2, 3

ds2, 1

We have worked with Dr. Ho and Dr. Woodman. Both were supportive of breastfeeding and co-sleeping.
Not sure about the vaccinations, since we went with the suggested schedule.
Very happy with them.
I do not think Dr. Ho is taking new patients.
Both are with ClarianArnett.

Dr. Cusack...he's a conventional doctor, but is very accepting of everything you mentioned (we don't vaccinate, and he didn't ever bring it up after we told him we weren't doing any for now).

You can thank me for introducing Dr. Cusack to not vaxing and extended BFing. When I took my newborn to him back in 2005, he and his nurse were horrified. But I've convinced them over the years.

Is there a reason you need a ped? Cusack is a family practioner and has been able to treat our entire family for over four years now. He is also very nice - my children love him and if only one needs to see him, the other insists on going too.

Does anyone still see Doctor Cusack?   We are looking for a doctor in that area and if he's still okay with non vax that would be great!

We see dr kasyjanski in south east Indy.... and she's phenomenal. she's ok with no vax, extended bf, cosleeping....basically she's a natural moms best friend. Our son went to her and she did not retract. I'm part of a few groups on fb. One is indy breast feeding group, Indy natural parenting, Indys finest moms , city moms, Carmel moms. Most all recommend her.
Here's her info
