second dr. Golnick. We use North Star Pediatrics. We moved to Indy when I was 36 weeks pregnant. I found an OB that took me and figured whomever came to see the baby in the hospital would be out ped. It did work out well. I'm kinda neutral on Julie. She is always very nice and very supportive of me and my parenting. She's not my favorite but, like I said, I'm neutral. She's not horrible in our case. I do have two boys so am considering a male for them. I don't hear great things about the male partner at northstar, (can't think of his name at the moment) But, I liked him on a sick visit.
We had Dr. Golnick on a sick visit and I said "I woke up during the night and he turned over and was really, really hot." She was actually very supportive of that and I could tell she went out of her way to support it. she said "sleeping alone is over rated anyway." I gave birth in community north and the lactation consultant said if I could get in with Dr. Golnick she was great. Very much pro-breast feeding to the point she is on the breast feeding board at commuity north. (I loved community north) North Star also has a baby waiting room with leather sofa's for breast feeding and there are several books and video's available for loan about breast feeding and co sleeping and no cry sleep solution etc. I thought that was very impressive.
I'm open and think the whole practice is definitely acceptable. Dr. Golnick always comes very highly recommended on this board. I told her that too.
