Just wanted post another reply since it's been a while since I've been here, and since I'm having my 2nd (with Kelley and Covenant Healthcare.)
I had an absolutely awesome experience with both CH & Kelley. I did have a few interventions (such as an episiotomy since my daughter was stuck), but overall, my experience was really, really good. The nurses were amazing (except one...you can PM me for more info if you want), and Kelley & the Dr that came were great. (Dr came since my daughter was stuck and they were afraid they'd have to do an emergency c-section, but they got her out without needing one). Aftercare was also excellent. Roomed in with both daughter & husband, lots of assistance if we needed it (such as a LC making sure we were getting started right with breastfeeding etc).
I also had a picky birth plan, and we were able to follow it almost to a T. Almost since you can't plan for everything, but Kelley discussed everything with me before we did anything.
I would absolutely recommend Kelley & CH again.
That said, I am seeing them again (due in May 2015). I've had a few changes, so I didn't want a pap smear or the STD test they wanted, and was able to get what I wanted. (They wanted a 'push the brush way up into your cervix' drug test, and I was 'no, I really don't think so'. We compromised, and did a swab around the cervix. Negative, like I thought.
They are really willing to work with you, and with what you want, which is something that I really like.
Any further questions, and you can send me a PM.
