Hi everyone I need some advice! we just found out we are pregnant and are trying to figure out what to do. I'm thinking I want to have a midwife but can't seem to find one close by. I live just a little north of Dayton near Troy, OH. If any of you know anyone in this area that i can get in touch with and talk to, that would be awesome!

Have you talked to any of the midwives at Miami Valley Hospital? There are several that work at their birthing center.

No midwives I know of near Troy. Barb Lahey takes births north of Troy & Brenda Hensler takes births south of Troy. I think they flip a coin for births in Troy. ;) I'm sure one of them will help you.
