We are looking to buy a house. Would prefer south/central Clintonville, but may be priced out unless we're willing to live RIGHT on the train tracks. It seems like you can get a lot more space for the money in Beechwold, but I'm not as familiar with the neighborhood--does it have "character"? Are there a lot of families with young kids? How do you feel about the schools?
We think Glen Echo seems cool, but are a little wary of being so close to the tracks and to the interstate and the campus area. But would love to hear opinions on it!
Fiction writer by training, writer/editor of anything anyone will hire me for by trade. Me + D=my girls E (4/2011) and little N, 1/2014.
I live (rent) in Crestview- which is southern Clintonville. I think that both Clintonville and Beechwold have lots of kids/families. Most are great neighborhoods. I love mine. We walk 2 blocks to the food coop!
Mama to a 3 year old awesome kid, Rowan (aka Mister Boopy) and TTC another at 43!
