Thank you for starting up a chapter of HMN -- I've been hemming & hawing about starting one for months.

I think I'll be there. I see the meeting is two hours. Is it safe to assume it's not two hours of the speaker talking and me trying to keep my 2yr old quietly entertained? It sounds very interesting but I know my dd can't be quiet and still that long.

Thanks go to chapter leader Andrea Stevens for starting the local chapter! I'm just the messenger! : I joined HMN a few weeks ago. There is also a local email group you get access to if you sign up, but that's not been active at all yet.

I highly doubt it will be the speaker talking the whole time. I can find out. ( we had an open house for the chapter earlier this month, and all the chairs were set up in a circle, and my two year old spent practically the whole meeting rolling around in the middle of the circle, singing her ABCs, and playing with my sling. There was a nice little play area set up for the kids with toys but Charlotte just had to be the center of attention. There were other toddlers there sitting quietly in their parents' arms, I was so embarrassed! Maybe our DCs can entertain each other at the meeting!)

Hope to you see all there!
