My daughter was born in 2007 by c-section. NO it wasn't my birth plan for her AT ALL. I am now 31 weeks pregnant and looking for support in doing a VBAC home birth. All my "crunchy" moms tell me to go UC, but I feel like I do not have the free time to learn everything I need to in order to make it safe for Evan and I. There isn't a midwife *that I know of* that doesn't practice out of a hospital already.
My major factor working against me at this moment is MONEY. In times like these I know you ladies can relate. I would love to do everything in my power to keep from going into the hospital. No matter how natural your birth plan may be when you enter, they have their own agenda. Since I am VBAC, the restrictions as of so far are a hep-lock and CFM. Well, I don't want those. It's all the more reason for them to "chain" you to the bed.
Does anyone out there know any midwives in training or Douala's in training that would be willing to assist me? Or any other resource for that matter?
Thanks
