I order from South Mountain Creamery in Thurmont, MD. I really love them, delivery is awesome, and you can visit the farm, especially on their semi-annual festivals. They even sell bread from Ellicot City, so that's very local to Ft. Meade! GL!
South Mountain Creamery doesn't sell raw milk, do they? Last time I looked at their website (which seems to be down right now) they have grass-fed, free range cows but do not offer raw or certified-organic milk products. Did something change with their products/policies? Hmm.

I just moved from SC where raw milk was legal and easy to obtain. Ever since I moved to Baltimore, I have not been able to find any sources. Can you help a raw enthusiast out?
Apparently there is an underground network people are protecting
We live in Western MD and travel to a pick up drop on the border for legally produced organic-grass-fed-raw-jersey-cow milk among other products including cream, eggs, beef, pork, raw-cheese, produce, etc. All family raised on pasture with no grain, antibiotics, hormones, etc the way it should be.
They have drop points all along the PA/MD border I believe, their website is absolutely fantastic and user friendly, you can order online and join a drop point, etc. I LOVE this family and trust them implicitly with our health. Their milk is what is sold to SMC and adulterated--ahem... I mean pasteurized and homogenized. We've been working with YFC for over 2 years now, their products are always top notch and the staff is professional and friendly.
www.localharvest.org is also a resource I used to use to find products like this.
I also live downtown and am looking for a source. i have to drive 2 hrs weekly right now to get some for my family and someone mentioned there is a group with downtown drops..
I know this is an old thread, but would love the inside scoop. We are in NW Baltimore Owings Mills/ Pikesville... would like to know of any leads around instead of driving to PA, hah!. Thanks!!
hey! i live on the eastern shore in md, does anyone know of where i could get raw milk from??? i researched and the closest places i found were in p.a. and on the western shore of md. info would be much appreciacted.
Hi I just joined. I too was searching for this. I also am near pikesville. I know where to go in Phila but the 1.5 hours has deterred me. Worse case we can take turns going?? I miss my kefir!!! Looking for goat. Thanks sooooo much.
Bumping this up again. We just moved to Annapolis from MA (where raw milk is legal from the farm). I'd really appreciate it if anyone could share their resource(s). Feel free to pm me.
Hi, just found this thread. Family lives in Hunt Valley/Cockeysville area. Would love a convenient source of raw milk. Heading all the way to the one retail store we know that sells it in PA is hard, about an hour each way... Thanks!
This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
