Thanks!!

Hi, I need to switch peds for my 14-mo-old (and line up for #2 due at the end of Feb.) who is not vaccinated at all. We are debating vax at a later date, but could very likely choose to not vax at all and we need a ped who will actually support (preferably not just *tolerate*) that. I live in DC and would l-o-v-e to find somebody close! Does anybody know of a good pediatrician in the area?

Oops! Sorry for the "Thanks" above everything else -- this new website completely messes with the formatting, somehow, and won't let me type in once I click away! :(

Did you ever find anyone?  We're on the lookout too.  Thanks!

My son (just turned 5) goes to Dr. Nicole Lang (Washington Pediatrics Associates).  I haven't vaxed yet, and still might later on, but she has never pushed the issue with me and is also willing to do alternative schedules.  I think her office has been great.

Thanks, Suelain! That looks like a neat practice--and they take insurance! Here's the website if anyone else is interested: http://www.washingtonpediatric.com/index.php

This is great to know!  There are so few around, and the same names are always thrown out.  Glad to know of another possibility to be able to recommend to people who are looking!

Could someone recommend reading material about delayed ped vax?  I've heard about parents that delay but I just assumed you get your child vaccinated. And any recommendations of pediatricians that support parents that do delay vaccines?
