Hi, I need to switch peds for my 14-mo-old (and line up for #2 due at the end of Feb.) who is not vaccinated at all. We are debating vax at a later date, but could very likely choose to not vax at all and we need a ped who will actually support (preferably not just *tolerate*) that. I live in DC and would l-o-v-e to find somebody close! Does anybody know of a good pediatrician in the area?
My son (just turned 5) goes to Dr. Nicole Lang (Washington Pediatrics Associates). I haven't vaxed yet, and still might later on, but she has never pushed the issue with me and is also willing to do alternative schedules. I think her office has been great.
(I'm not even pregnant yet, but I'm stalking this thread anyway )
Could someone recommend reading material about delayed ped vax? I've heard about parents that delay but I just assumed you get your child vaccinated. And any recommendations of pediatricians that support parents that do delay vaccines?
