Welcome to MDC!  We're in Middletown.  There is a large network of AP mamas that have met through the Delmarva babywearers (they're on FB)

I get notifications from Delmarva babywearers but have never attended.  I know they meet at the Birth Center, where I had my second son who is 3 months.  I was never sure if my 5 yo would be out of place since we homeschool and he would be with me...

It is hard,  I don't go anymore with two toddlers, but there are some homeschooling moms that bring the whole gang!  I think that they ask that you try to bring a quiet activity for the older kids to keep busy ..

Congratulations on your pregnancy!  I loved my birth center experience. Did you choose a room yet?

Yeah, my 5 yo would have a hard time because he is so energetic and active!

We're neighbors!

@Atmoomy (I can't figure out how to do the multiple quoting thing) I think I am going to do a water birth. What room did you use ?

I thought about doing the waterbirth but my son was at the birth center and I figured birthing upstairs would make me more accessible to him if he wanted to peek in and out during labor.  So, we used the blue room!

There is a monthly meeting at the Camden/Dover Chick-fil-a that is more toddler+ friendly. There is also a monthly LLL meeting in Milford. We are out there!

Hi! I live in Newark!  DH is getting his PHD of UDel.  I had my daughter in Nov 09' at The Birth Center.  We had a water birth and it was such a wonderful experience!
