I've looked through some past threads for recommendations on this, but am coming up empty. Anyone have any recommendations for a pediatrician in the Arlington/Falls Church area who encourages breastfeeding, is open to flexible vax schedules, and isn't inclined to prescribe medications at the drop of a hat (doesn't overuse antibiotics etc)? Someone who encourages/supports natural remedies when appropriate, but is quick to point out when medication is truly necessary. I'm 35 weeks pregnant with our first - a boy. We plan to keep him intact as well, so a doc who is supportive of that decision is also important to me. Thanks so much for any help.
We love ALL Pediatrics. Good BFing support, truly support alternative vaccination schedules, 3 offices open 7 days a week (great for that weekend ear infection), evening office and phone hours, clean offices with good wait times. They are much more conservative in prescribing drugs than our old ped...usually let the kid wait it out unless it's really something.
