We'll be moving to Annapolis in roughly a month from NoVA, and I'd like to have a family doctor that is non-vax friendly, and not pushy with antibiotics for everything. Someone holistic and into herbal/alternative medicine too would be awesome, but maybe that is asking too much. My main desires are not to be treated like a horrible parent for not vaxing and to be spoken to like a partner in our family's care. I would like a family doctor not just because of the vax issue, but so we can all go to the same person and hopefully develop a good relationship as a family (not that I plan on going much at all aside from a yearly check up).

Have you talked to Dr. Kelly in Annapolis? She's on Forest Drive. Good luck!

Try Amy Cowart (DO) in Arnold.

Mama to DS1 (2/08) and DS2 (9/10).

Any more info on Dr. Kelly? I did a search, but it's pretty broad. The best match I'm getting is Dr. Jacqueline Kelly in Annapolis, but it says General's Highway. Is this the one?

We see Dr. Tim Fry in Edgewater. He is a DO. He is respectful of vax choices even if he doesn't agree with you. He doesn't offer alternative remedies, but he also doesn't push prescriptions either. He likes to take the wait and see approach whenever possible, like with unhappy looking ears. He is very good with the kids and has good bedside manner. I also like that I've never had trouble getting in to see him when we need to. He will take his time with you, listen to what is going on, and is actually interested in his patients. When our daughter was very sick, he called us all through the weekend for updates!
