My husband went to a chiropractor in Bloomfield that came highly recommended by another local message board. Through x-rays he was diagnosed with serious issues regarding the curve of his neck. We however felt bullied by the guy as if he was selling us a car, he told my husband to come in 3x a week and me 2x a week (though I had little to nothing wrong) and we stopped before the third. Does anyone have a recommendation for a chiropractor who will look at his x-rays again and be able to solve his problem without us worrying that we're getting conned? Thank you mommas.

I see Donna Pontoriero in Nutley. She's very nice and crunchy (has Mothering mag in her waiting area most of the time). I can't promise that she won't want to see you often -- that seems to be the way chiropractors are, and the whole idea behind chiropractic. She's not pushy, IMO, though. I haven't been there in a few months, it's not like she's calling to ask me where I am or anything.
