Connie Gleckler is from Cherry Hill and she was my doula with my 5yo. She is an IBCLC also. She was wonderful, esp. when you consider she was my original doula's backup and the first time we met was in the LDR room. I was instantly comfortable with her, and my husband and I never felt like she was interfering with our dynamic, she gently supported both of us.

She's still listed on Tristate Doulas -- if you click on her name you can email her or any of the other doulas on the list. I also know and like Robbi Albert Jones and Jodi Spencer but have never been a client of theirs. Janet Capetta is a real sweetheart too, not sure if she's still doing doula work since she became a LM. My original doula with my 5yo was Crystal Sada. She was my doula again with my 4yo and she is amazing, funny, and warm . She really just makes you feel safe and loved. She doesn't take clients anymore though, although she is still active in teaching doula classes.

HTH!

Kelly, blessed to be with Stephen, and mama to three little ladies with huge hearts:, lotsa energy:, and curious minds.

I serve that area, too, but if you're interested in someone closer, try www.doulamatch.net and come back on here and ask about people specifically maybe?

As far as midwives go, what kind of birth are you planning - home or hospital? Janet Cappetta is doing some homebirths and is super sweet - and I know of a few others I could recommend for homebirth, but I'd have to ask around some other forums for hospital midwives.
