I am looking for a hospital/OB that will allow you to hold your baby in the OR in the event you need a cs.  Anyone know of any?  Thanks!

I live in Central Pennsylvania, but realize I will most likely have to travel a great distance.

I saw your post on Mama Birth(maybe) and was wondering how that panned out.  I don't know of anyone for SURE who will allow it.  But you may want to try the Midwives at Magee in Pittsburgh.  They may know of a doctor since they work closely with several at the hospital.  You may also want to call and talk to Dr. Robert Kaminsk 412.641.1000.

Are you able to try for VBAC?

Thank you!  I will have to check them out since they would be in-state and thus covered by my insurance.   I had a vaginal birth with my previous pregnancy so it would be a primary cs.  The drs who I have consulted with put my risk of needing a primary cs at between 50%-75%, so I want to be prepared to have the best experience for me as is possible.
