I'm trying to find a midwife center who is ruling to do a vbac in the bucks county/ princeton area. I'm looking for someone who will stand by my side if a doctor tries to rush my deliver and who will be honest with me. Know of any good midwives or centers that do that and take insurance?

I VBAC'd twice with Pam and Louise www.midwiferycare.org

They do not take insurance BUT I got 60% back the first time and 90% back the second.  Look at your out of network benefits.  Even if I got nothing back they were worth every penny.  My first VBAC was very very long (almost 2 days PROM) and Pam stayed with me the whole time.  I really think that using any of provider would've had me back in the ER long before then...

I did.  I really liked Capital Health (and I went to the old hospital in Trenton).  The nurses were all fabulous and Pam and Louise's back-up doctors pretty much leave them alone.

I did have a problem with their billing BUT the customer liason person was really really nice and we didn't end up paying anything out of pocket in the end.

Your insurance covered the hospital stay and services?
