I went to Dr. Rosen in Oradell (a great integrative ped that stopped taking ins) for a short while with DS1. He/the office staff were GREAT!

I found a ped I really liked.... but now with my new DD2 I'm getting annoyed with some of the attitudes in the office (new woman at the front desk is horrid) and I'm feeling unsupported about delaying vax like I did with DS1. I also brought my DD2 in a week after her first appt to be weighed and make sure she was gaining fine (which she was) and they charged me a co pay and said I had to see the Dr. - really? I was miffed... and still am.

Is it really that difficult to find a Ped that cares about my kids and my thoughts as a parent more than the bottom line?

Any suggestions for other Ped's in the area would be MOST appreciated!

I'm in Ringwood and willing to drive 20-30 minutes.... but I don't want to be too far away.

I see Dr. Rosen and he did start taking insurance again. Maybe it's only selective kinds of insurance but might be worth looking into! Good luck!

Doctors Battista, Fisch, and Czenizer in Oradell are fine with delayed vacs, always available, and have wonderful office staff. Good luck.
