Hello Everyone!

I'm a birth doula located in Schuylkill county PA and service a wide range of areas.  I have personally used Reading Birth and Women's Center for my birth care (they do all births: hospital (Reading Hospital), Birth Center (their own) and homebirths), but I want to be able to point my clients to all the midwives in these areas.  Schuylkill county is especially void of midwives, I only know of Katie Jay (and her partner Lydia) in this immediate area.  I wasn't sure if anyone else knew, or personally used, other midwives.  I know of Jen in  Luzerne, and some CNM's that work at Holy Spirit (Worked with them before, they are wonderful: Center for Women's Health).  I appreciate any help at all.  I want to be able to expand birth care in my area!

Terrible experience with Katie Jay midwife in Bethel PA

Terrible experience with Katie Jay midwife in Bethel PA. The Hershey hospital did the best they could to provide us with a natural birth.

When I was pregnant with my first, I had Molly Means from Holy Spirit do most of my prenatal appointments in the third trimester and she was WONDERFUL - warm, personable, and genuinely interested in me as a patient. She is very professional and adamant about birth plans, which is great. Congrats on being a birth doula! Do you have a website? I'm looking to hire one for my next birth.
