I am looking for midwife in Nassau County. If somebody had a good experience please share. I'm due in 8 weeks and have to change my midwife because of insurance which upsets me a lot.

Hospital or homebirth? The homebirth ones are Gaia Midwifery (Dale Cook) and Jeanette Breen. Gaia also has several midwives that attend births at NUMC. I have not lived in state for years so this may be an incomplete list at this point. I only worked with one in hospital midwife (I was a doula), Linda Jaworowski in Lynbrook. She works with a dr.Seraji. http://malverne-lynbrook.patch.com/listings/gentle-care-obgyn-pc http://www.longislandmidwives.com/directory
