Hi ladies,

I am meeting with a home birth midwife soon, however, greensad.gif due to cost I'm not sure if I will be able to go that route vs the hospital where the insurance covers all costs  :-(  Does anyone have any suggestions for a midwife that takes insurance and has anyone given birth at the buffalo hospital.... if so I would love to hear about your experience.  Thanks!

I am seeing Eileen Stewart with Buffalo Midwifery Services, I live too far from her for a birth in my home, so I will be giving birth at her office. She is great, and also takes insurance. If you want an OB that is supportive of doing things naturally and isn't pushy then Dr. Katherine Morrison is your best option and she has patients deliver at The Birthing Center of Buffalo or Women's and Children's Hospital.
