Hi, everyone -

My husband and I are planning a natural childbirth using the Bradley method, and we're wondering if anyone knows of an OBGYN in the area who is supportive of this. We would like to have a hospital birth.

I don't necessarily know that my current group will not be supportive, but I was hoping for recommendations in case I don't get the answers I'm hoping for when I ask questions.

Thanks for your help!!

You should meet Dr. Hofrichter (http://www.gotomydoc.com/Practices/GHofrichter/hofrichter.html) and think about delivering at Manchester Memorial.  She was my Dr. and was very supportive of my VBAC and natural childbirth.  The hospital is also very natural birth friendly (they have tubs you can labor and deliver in and a great nursing staff).

I have heard pretty good things about the Manchester OB/GYN Associates (MOGA) group that delivers at Manchester Memorial.  In addition to OBs they also have CNMs who attend births as well.  Good luck in your search!
