Looking for natural, holistic childbirth classes in south eastern MA.
Any suggestions for a first time mother-to-be?
Unfortunately, there aren't currently any Brio teachers near Swansea -- the closest are in Berlin and Northborough, an hour and a quarter away. (I'm the one in Berlin.)
My next thought was Laura Donnelly, a midwife and childbirth educator in Scituate, but the map says she's also an hour and a quarter away. Let me think: oh, Paige Eastman is a midwife in New Bedford, and her site says she teaches classes: http://www.birthcaremidwifery.com/ . If that doesn't work, let me know, and I'll investigate other teachers in SE Mass.!
Here's some people I know in the area, although not all are close to Swansea....
Charlene is in New Bedford and I believe she does childbirth classes as well as doula and other work... http://belliesbabiesnmore.com/doula-services/
Erin Monast does hypnobirthing in Wareham and Heidi Pelletier does the Art of Mindful Childbirth (based on Birthing From Within) classes in Acushnet. Erin is also a doula and hosted the Birth Circle last week and will be holding others Feb 16 & Mar 16 at 6:30 at Wareham Nurse Midwives on Main St in Wareham. Heidi is also a doula and postpartum doula.

Dh, Joshua Rebeccaand . for Laura
Thanks for all the suggestions!
I don't mind a little traveling in the summer since my husband and I are both teachers and have the summer off.
Someone recently told me about Lisa Elliot from Fairhaven...has anyone heard of her?
