If you are expecting and would like to learn more about how a doula can help your family through birth and the postpartum period, please join us! Tea and snacks will be served.
After a short presentation, you will have an opportunity to meet and greet the wonderful doulas from Doulas of Rhode Island (DoRI). All of our members are required to be professionally trained by a doula certifying organization. DoRI also offers a mentor program to its new members. New doulas are paired up with more experienced doulas to help them gain valuable experience and knowledge. With a client's consent, new doulas have the opportunity to attend births with an experienced doula. Our doulas have a great network of support and resources which enables them to support your family in the best way possible.
This is FREE event.
Hope to see you there!
Doulas of Rhode Island (DoRI) was founded to provide easy access for families in Rhode Island to doula service and professional support as well as to create a professional network for antepartum and postpartum doulas.
The network is open to all area doulas, it offers education, support and marketing opportunities.
Our mission is to increase public awareness about the physical and emotional benefits of doula support during and after birth.
