My little guy got 3 pox yesterday and has at least a few more (it's cold so I didn't undress him much to check.)

Unfortunately we can't host today.  But we'll be open for poxing tomorrow 9-11:30am.  PM me if you want directions.

A bunch of kids in the area were exposed recently.  Request to join the "Chicken Pox Parties NY Metro Area" group on facebook if you're looking.  Mention mothering.com and we'll let you in.  There should be at least a couple more cases coming on in our region in the next few days.   Putnam Valley/Cold Spring/Cortlandt/Northern Westchester...not CT/MA/RI but not that far for some folks.

sg74...my little guy hasn't had new pox in a few days so I can't imagine he's very contagious.  But join the facebook group (see above) and you will find some current cases as well as a whole cohort of kids who were just exposed and should have symptoms in 10 days.

Best wishes!
