I was wondering if anyone has used the midwives at 'Specialists in women's healthcare' in Waterbury for a birth at the birthing center in St. Marys?
I was going to Naugatuck Valley OB and they now only have ONE midwife on call 24 hours a day :(
I was looking forward to birthing at St Marys (eventually) but one midwife on call scares me and I don't particularly like their office staff. I am looking for a new provider and hadn't heard of this other group until I fell upon them - just wondering if anyone has gone to them.
I went to the Specialists in Women's Health and worked with the midwives there. I asked about the birthing center at St. Mary's and one said that Waterbury Hospital has nicer facilities. I never managed to schedule a tour and ended up doing L&D in a regular room. I had a natural birth with back labor. Are you really invested in St. Mary's or are you open to other locations?
Come to Danbury! Or to the new birthing center at St. Vincents. Can't speak highly enough about the Danbury Birth Center though.
Happy , delayed/selective vaxxing, WOHM to DD1 4/10 , DD2 8/12 and partner/wife for thirteen years to SAHD DH.
