Charles Joseph arrived 11/05/08 @ Newton Wellesley Hospital, via emergency c-section. Forgive me for skipping the traumatic birth story. CJ was 10 lbs, 15 oz and 22 inches long, with sandy blonde hair and chubby cheeks. I'm hoping his eyes will stay blue! We were both put on antibiotics for potential infection, but we're both just fine. I've been breastfeeding him up in the Special Care Nursery, even though they look at us like we're aliens. I get discharged tomorrow, and CJ will be discharged from the SCN on Weds 11/12 after completing his 7 day antibiotic treatment. Keep your fingers crossed that I can board here until then!

Awww, he sounds adorable. Does he even fit his newborn clothes? That was the trouble with my 9.5lb'er, he didn't fit the clothing I had picked out for him, so sad!
I hope your recovery goes quickly. Do you have family to help out or a pp doula?
Need any food delivered?
Great job persevering with breastfeeding despite the derogatory glances. I hope you can continue to make it work once you are discharged. Do you have a pump yet?
Please feel free to share a link to his birth story or pics when you feel up to it.
Congratulations on your new baby boy! :

Congratulations!!!! Wishing you both a speedy recovery.
I : Love his name. I'm partial though because my little one's name is also Charles (Charles James). He was also really big at 10lbs 10oz.
Hoping that you are both home very soon.

my two boys 9-2004 dup2(q13,q23) and 3-2008
