Does anyone know of a pediatrician in the Manchester, NH area who is vegetarian/vegan friendly? I'm 20 weeks pregnant and beginning to look for a pediatrician.

Thanks!

We're veg and go to Concetta Oteri at Willowbend Family Practice in Bedford. She's didn't blink an eye about us being veg. She did say that she recommends that her veg patients sprout beans/grains (for the nutrients). I thought it was pretty cool to have a doc who even *knows* about sprouting.

Selective/delayed vax is actually STANDARD in the practice. No vax is fine. No issues.

She's a family doc, though, not a ped. Our whole family sees her.

Thanks so much for the information! It's great to know that there are doctors where selective/delayed vaccination is the standard.

I am not vegetar/ or vegan but we also go to Dr. Oteri and have no issues. She is great. She doesn't tell you how to parent and is okay with alternative medicine and delayed or no vax.
I do have a vegan friend who takes her kids to Dr. Ferruci on the east side of Manch and she loves him.

Dr Oteri is my vote too. She actually follows the raw diet, so she is a GREAT resource, in addition to being an awesome dr and great friend

My husband had an appointment today (he saw another doctor this time, but Dr. Oteri is to be our family doctor) and he was absolutely impressed with the level of care and professionalism at the practice. He asked me to send out a big Thank You to all who recommended Willow Bend Family Practice and Dr. Oteri.

Thank you!!!
