I've checked out the VT Midwives Alliance and the VT Birth Network pages and gone through their lists.  Some seem really promising.

I'm just wondering if there are any new or under-the-radar, wonderful midwives out there.  I want to be able to weigh my options and find the best fit for me.

Are you in the north? The south? I am not aware of any new ones. I do have experience with some of the midwives on the Alliance list.

Acutally, I'm right in the middle.  Half way up the state on the East side.  Just off 91.  I've heard there's a wonderful midwife in Strafford who keeps trying to retire, but she's not listed anywhere.  I keep hoping there are some other gems like this that you can only learn about through word of mouth.  Although, I suppose MDC might be a little too public for this kind of info.

Thanks for any suggestions!
