Hi everyone.  I am seeking a pediatrician in the Burlington, VT area who is open to non-vax children.  I'd love someone who embraces breastfeeding as well, although that's secondary.  Any help is greatly appreciated!

Would you be willing to travel to Stowe?  We see a ND there who sounds like what you are looking for.  Most VT health insurances cover naturopathic doctors the same as they cover medical doctors.  We go to Stowe Natural Family Wellness.  There are two doctors in the office, both ND's and home birth midwives.  They are both friendly, knowledgeable, and non tax and breast-feeding friendly.

I believe I used a family dr. at Winooski Family Health. I was only there for a short time before we moved down to the Upper Valley, but the dr. I used there had chosen to go back to medical school after her children were born because she felt that the pediatricians she had seen were not willing to work with her as a mother and treated her poorly. She was 100% in support of delayed/selective vax and was wonderful about my breastfeeding issues.

I am so sorry I can't remember her name, it was so long ago. But I think there were several drs there who were very supportive.

Former mothering.com member. Changed handle. Queer mama(30) with stb-DW(29), D1 (5) Hoping to start TTC in July and lots of fur babies
