Well I live on the good side then but in a junky apartment building with a slumlord running the show! We a few blocks from the amazing houses. My "dream house" is over there but I assume it costs about 350,000 more than my budget.

I just visited the area you used to live in and there are some great houses over there.

I hope the 7th ends up working out for people.

I'm going to try to make it next weekend. I have no plans so far.

And thanks for the Halloween suggestion. We had fun trick or treating on Nottingham. Except for the fact that all of the houses have a bunch of steps and my 2 year old wanted carried around everywhere.

It's supposed to be really nice on Saturday, too, so the park will work out great. So far, it's saying partly cloudy and a high of 64!

I think 10 will work best for us.

I may not be able to make it. Our afternoon is already booked and I'm not sure I'll be able to come out that way (we're in Wildwood). You ladies have fun and I'll try to catch up next time!!

The 14th won't work for us either - I've got family coming over in the morning to help paint a few rooms and then DS is heading over to Grandma and Grandpa's for the afternoon and evening while DH and I have a long overdue date night!

What about the 15th? Sunday's work pretty well for us since DH is just sitting around watching football all day.

We are free on Sunday. Where is everyone thinking of meeting up?

Weather forecast for Sunday is "Mostly cloudy with a chance for showers. Highs in the upper 50s."

Since there are only a few of us should we just try for Hartford or is there somewhere else that might work?

Hartford works for us. I couldn't make it until 11. or after 3. I'll only be bringing my 2 year old.

11 and after 3 both work for us. We're free all day Sunday so we can show up whichever time is best for more people. It will be me and my 12 month old daughter.

We could come at, or after 11 on Sunday, later in the day gets trickier. Hartford sounds nice, I can't believe it's taken me this long to get there I will have both my 4 year old and my 8 month old.

11am works for us - we could stay for an hour or two and then lunchtime will kick in. Should we maybe meet some place that will cater to our LO's appetites?

My DS is 3.75 - will be 4 in January. I'm currently 6 months preggers. I have shoulder length brown hair w/ highlights. DS has blonde hair and blue eyes. My name is Jennifer and his is Jack.

It's supposed to rain on Sunday... yuck. But we'll all make the best of it.

Sunday (tomorrow), 11am at Hartford Coffee.

Lauren, Kiera and I will be there. Lauren and I are still coughing a bit, but my fever has been gone for a week now.

I am so bummed that I missed it. I have really been looking forward to meeting other moms in the area. Dagny pretty much did not sleep at all last night. I was awake with her still when the sun came up.

Me, too. DS was in a mood and a mindset to only go see DH play soccer - OUTSIDE!! I could've used a nice cup of coffee then! We froze, but he didn't want to leave. On our way home, he fell asleep in the car.

Hope you ladies had a great time. I, too, was looking forward to meeting other mamas in the area! This weekend is totally booked for us, but am open the day after Turkey day if you are all in town and even that Saturday or Sunday.

I couldn't make it Sunday, either. I'm oncall for work this month and got called in to work. I really wanted to go.

SallyN and I were the only MDC folks there, and it was super crowded the whole time. I think that if we're going to do a weekend meetup, we should pick a bigger venue, or if we want to do Hartford, we should try for a weekday or something.

They are dead on weekdays. Any ideas for other venues? I posted about reserving the kids room at the library but got only one response.

I'm up for that. Which library? Indoor ideas - Magic House, Monkey Joe's, Science Center, Cooperella - http://www.urbanspoon.com/r/28/32051...Cafe-Maplewood
