Police Take 2 Men Into Custody Outside Mayfair Mall

The mall called police after a 30-year-old male reported that someone tried to rob him in a bathroom. The suspect did not take anything, did not fire shots and did not injure the victim.
I was have already been a bit uneasy about shopping there since last holiday season, but this certainly doesn't make me feel any better.

I'm really familiar with Mayfair mall and I have to say that over the years I have learned to not go there after dark. Even with the new rules regarding underage kids being there without an adult, there is a lot of loitering that is going on. It seems like the more loitering there is the more time on their (not just teens) hands they have. Trouble seems to come from boredom, IMHO. Honestly, I think the biggest reason keeping me away from the mall this year is a lack of money more than anything else=)

I stay away from the mall as much as possible anyway, so no. But if I worked there I would be seriously concerned. There are just too many little things like that popping up in the area. There was a daylight robbery in the Falls a few weeks ago. I'm starting to try and do more errands with dh, rather than without him.
