My husband and I are most likely relocating back to Milwaukee for work and family reasons. One of my few regrets of the move is leaving my daughter's current in-home Montessori program (she's in a Children's House).

Are there any home-based Montessori programs in the northern burbs of Milwaukee? We will likely settle in Mequon or Thiensville in order to minimize my husband's commute. My quick google searches have not yielded anything, but I know in-home Montessori programs are often below the radar.

Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the neighborhood! We are recent relocators as well. Our daughter is too young yet for school but we have bounced around the Waldorf/Montessori (basically alternative) school options. I haven't heard of any in-home programs, but Mequon has a Montessori school that's easily found online. If you haven't already, pop into the MDC board for Montessori - there might be connections there to be made. I'll be watching to see if anyone responds to this post and will certainly let you know if I find anything. I'm wondering if there might be something further north (Cedarburg or Grafton). Good luck!
