A good place to ask this would be in the Minnesota forum. I bet there are women who can give you their opinion!!

Happy birthing!

Hi Candace!  I have met Maureen and discussed having a homebirth with her for my second child.  We decided not to because of finances and because my husband is just more comfortable using hospital midwives.  But she seemed really great, and I have a good friend who used her and was very happy.  Also, this is a friend of a friend who has used her http://tending-home-fires.blogspot.com/  If you search for "Clementine's birth story" that is for sure a birth with Maureen, and I believe her other home births were as well.  I'm sure you could email her if you have detailed questions.  I know you may have made the decision by now, but maybe this will help you.  :)
