Hi!  I am thinking of using Maureen Dahl for our first child doing an at home birth!  Has anyone used her?  If so, how was the experience?  Also what are the approximated costs involved as we are trying to save up! Thanks in advance!

I don't have any info for you but thought I'd bump your post up for input. :)

I"m guessing this reply is too late but I had to chime in.  We started using Maureen Dahl when I was pregnant with our twin boys (6.5 years now).  Unfortunately we weren't able to finish it out because I developed a blood clot, became high risk at that point and had to work with an MD.  But I can't say enough good things about Maureen.  I loved her to pieces!  She has a warm personality and I felt very relaxed with her.  She is quite knowledgeable and has been in the field for a looonngg time.  I, personally, would go with Maureen anytime!  I do have to say though, that its all about chemistry too.  It's whoever fits your family.  My husband and I hit it off instantly with Maureen.  But I would say, you'd have to have an interview with a mid-wife to get the feeling if that person is a good fit for you.  Experience/knowledge-wise, she's top-notch.  As for prices, she'll clearly lay that all out for you.  HOnestly, I can't remember what it was.
