I want to take a moment to share my appreciation for the UW Midwives and Meriter Hospital. My first 3 children were born unassisted, so when I felt (intuitively) that my fourth should be a hospital birth I was innitially scared/overwhelmed thinking about how different it might be. The UW midwives worked to help ease my mind prenatally and went out of their way to insure my birthplan was respected and I maintained the level of autonomy I was used to. They exceeded all my expectations of what a hospital birth can be. I recommend them wholeheartedly <3

Womanhood is not a destination. It is an archaeological dig.
