Hello! I live in the Midway neighborhood in Saint Paul, and I have two little girls (5 and almost 3) and will be expecting baby #3 this August. I have a feeling that we will need lots of opportunities to get out of the house this Spring/Summer/Fall and I'm looking for some new ideas!

We love Choo Choo Bobs, the various libraries (esp the ones in Roseville and Merriam Parks) and of course, the Como Zoo/Como Park.

Any other suggestions, mommas? If they are cheap/free, even better! orngbiggrin.gif

The Twin Cities API group has a ton of playgroups that you can be a part of. I would look into that, it is a lot of fun and there are great women and kids!

I agree with the API group too.  They have a yahoo group that lists all the playdates.

I live in Midway too with 2 kids 21 months and a 3 week old.  We spent a lot of time last summer at the wabun park splash pad.  Java Train is a favorite too, it's a cafe/restaurant with play area.  The Oxford pool is fun and I believe Wednesdays they have a discount.  Eagles Nest is another good one but it's not exactly close, maybe 20 minutes away.

Are you part of the Hamline Midway neighbors group on Facebook?  There are a lot of families on there and they might have more suggestions.
